The lighting is to re-create the brightness and mood of mid-day.

Taipei City is under attack by a wave of undetected asteroids falling from sky and is going up in flames. The modern symbol of the city, the 101 building, is hit and starting to crumble.
Cityscape under daylight with details from both ancient and modern architecture. This particularly busy downtown cityscape is designed on a grind, which includes a stadium, high-rise skyscrapers, parks and a magnificent museum.
Same cityscape design as the previous painting with a change from day to night. While the city glows from artificial lights and starts to slow down, a jet comes out of nowhere and bombs the stadium parking lot and a few other buildings.
This snowy scene was created with light green and blue colors in order to have that bright and pure effect.
